General and Preventative Care

Our general and preventative care treatments are designed to help each patient protect and preserve their teeth and oral health.

  • Dental Cleanings

Maintaining a regular schedule of cleanings is the foundation of your future good dental health. By removing accumulated tartar from your teeth on a regular schedule, we help you greatly reduce your risk of cavities. Plus, it’s always nice to see your teeth so shiny and sparkly after cleaning.

  • Oral Hygiene

Our hygienists are not only concerned with cleaning your teeth during your visit, they are also concerned with your at-home-care regimen. They will point out any areas you are missing when you brush and show you the right way to floss.

  • Dental Exams and X-Rays

Regular dental exams and x-rays are vital to prevent little problems from becoming big ones. Dr. Alexander will make sure any small problems are detected and treated promptly. If any more serious problems come up, we will make sure you understand why they occurred, how they can be remedied and how to prevent them in the future.

  • Gum Disease Care

The supporting structures for your teeth must be kept healthy and free from infection to protect the survival of all your teeth and even your overall health. This is an excellent reason to maintain regular visits with our hygienist. The faster we identify and treat gum disease, the better.

  • Pediatric Dental Care

We love introducing our youngest patients to good dental care. We start them off gently so they can build healthy habits to last their whole lives. Please contact us if you have any questions about how soon your child should begin to visit our office.

  • Oral Cancer Screenings

Each time you visit our dental office, we protect your health by screening you for oral cancer. If we find any suspicious signs, we will help you understand what you should do next.

  • Snoring and Sleep Apnea

Do you snore heavily at night or wake up gasping for air? Is your mouth dry and painful in the morning? Are you tired throughout the day? These are among the many signs of sleep disorders that include heavy snoring and sleep apnea. Sleep disorders can contribute to serious health problems such as high blood pressure and heart disease. We can help you overcome this problem.

Read Some of Our Patients Reviews

"My wife and I both went to Dr. Alexander for the first time this week and were THOROUGHLY pleased with everything she did. We joined her Dental Membership program because she was so good and honest in her exam and cleanings. We have experienced several other dentists in this area that are pure shylocks. We would recommend her to anyone."

-Jack O.

"This was the most amazing dental visit my son and I have ever had! Dr. Alexander is so pleasant and made sure that she explained all our options for treatment and for future care. The entire staff was just wonderful."

Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry

We are pleased to offer cosmetic and restorative dentistry to help our patients keep their smiles complete, functional and attractive.

  • Tooth-Colored Fillings

Our tooth-colored fillings are very popular with our patients. These fillings are not only undetectable, they also require less drilling than metal fillings.

  • Veneers

For teeth that are badly stained, chipped, or unsightly, veneers are a fast and beautiful solution. They can be used to correct a single tooth or to improve the appearance of an entire smile.

  • Crowns

Crowns offer the same improved appearance as veneers, but also protect and strengthen a damaged tooth, giving it many more years of strong function.

  • Teeth Whitening

Some smiles just need brightening to make our patients happy. For this, we use the safest and most effective teeth whitening products available.

  • Invisalign®

Clear Invisalign® braces are very popular with our patients of all ages. You can now straighten your teeth without your treatment being obvious. Besides improving your smile, Invisalign® can improve your bite and gum health as well.

  • Dental Bridges

Missing a couple of teeth? A dental bridge will soon complete that smile. A bridge consists of a replacement tooth between two crowns which cover the teeth on either side of the gap.

  • Dental Implants

For permanent and fully functional tooth replacements, consider dental implants. A dental implant looks, feels and acts just like a natural tooth. A dental implant consists of a crown attached to a titanium post (the implant) that bonds to the bone of your jaw.

  • Partial and Complete Dentures

For our patients who have lost several or all their teeth, we are very pleased to offer partial and complete dentures that utilize the latest technology and materials for the greatest comfort and longevity.

  • Root Canals

For a tooth that has suffered infection, deep decay or fracture, a root canal removes the infected soft inner tissue, replacing it with sterile material. This treatment enables a patient to retain a tooth that might otherwise be lost.

  • Extractions

Sometimes a tooth can’t be saved. In that case, it’s better to remove the tooth to preserve the health of nearby teeth, gums and bone.

  • Emergency Dentistry

When an injury or toothache strikes, it’s important to get care as quickly as possible. We will fit our emergency patients into our schedule to the best of our ability.

Patient lost his front tooth from an accident. After reviewing all treatment options, we decided to proceed with a dental bridge. After a few visits, he is now able to smile again with confidence.

Patient came in with some missing teeth, severely worn down teeth, and some infected teeth. He wanted to keep his teeth. We restored his smile with a comprehensive dental treatment involving implants and crowns. As an added benefit of removing the infection, he said his food tasted better!
